DARK ANGEL: Liz Tells Frank Live Ep. 1
Dear Frank,
You already know that our first official Liz Tells Frank Live is on YouTube, but let’s dial it up a notch! A PODCAST-Y notch.
This is just the beginning of the podcasting action, Frank! Because as you well know, last Friday we got Sucker Punch-ed. And that, in many forms, will be COMING SOON.
Love,
Liz

I’m sure that your PODCAST will probably be more popular than your past blog entries, (and I wish you all the luck in the world with that) but PODCASTS are not my thing, so I won’t be watching them.
I like that podcast is in all caps. 🙂 You might give this one a shot? Or check out the YouTube version. This one’s a little different from the usual podcast tradition. But I totally understand that change is hard.
I feel like something has gone wrong brain/biology wise because I have arrived at the rage-against-change stage about thirty years too early.
By the way, I wasn’t trying to make a statement with the caps. I was unsure about how it should be written, which tells you something about how unfamilar I am with podcasts. I don’t think I’ve ever watched one. They always seem too time-consuming. Fifty minutes doesn’t seem like long when I plan to spend it on reading something, but somehow it feels super long when I have to watch something. I’m weird.
I’d say that thinking about podcasts as something to watch isn’t maybe the right approach? I wrote up some thought about the YouTube edition here: http://lizlet.tumblr.com/post/101612948834/liz-tells-frank-live-how-to-watch-it
You’re right, of course.
It’s just that mostly when I listen to something I’m primarily focused on something else. That doesn’t much matter when I listen to music (when I read or exercise or clean etc.) because a song doesn’t stop making sense when you’ve missed parts of it. I doubt this applies to podcasts. So, I could either turn all my attention to the podcast, which I still kind of don’t want to do or listen to it in the background, which to me seems stupid because I will probably miss most of it. I guess that when it comes to podcasts I suck at multitasking.
Basically, what I’m saying is that if I am going to really listen to a podcast I’ll end up watching it (the picture/video/graphics that are on the screen during the podcast) too.
